Synopsis: Jacob Cole, bank robber, is rescued from certain death by an embattered group of Native Americans, and they become unlikely allies when a gigantic newt bursts out of the ground and starts eating people around page 30. This was the very first feature I ever wrote, and right around when I finished the first draft, Hollywood announced like 3 different movies exactly like it (one with Robert Downey Jr. and aliens, and one with Ice Cube and werewolves). Major bummer, and major bummers have a way of sucking the joy and incentive out of rewrites. So, I'm showing you people the first draft. Please be gentle, it's sensitive. | |
